 What are the advantages of using steel?
 Steel is up to 10 times stronger than wood. It can withstand winds of up to 110 mph. It is also 100% recyclable. Steel is fire-proof, it will not warp or rot which means less structural maintenance. Steel has design flexibility and is energy efficient. Steel is lightweight but strong, termites don't stand a chance.
 
 How are steel components held together?
 Unlike nails that you would use with wood products steel components are held together with screws. This eliminates the problem of nail popping that you would get from wood.
 
 What is the availability of steel?
 Steel is readily available. There are many light gage suppliers throughout the country. It can be ordered in pre-engineered panelized systems, stock lengths or cut to the lengths you request.
 
 Will I be able to find other construction trades that work with steel?
 Yes, other trades can work with steel. In fact steel studs have pre-punched holes in them making it faster and easier for trades to work with, such as the plumber and electrician.
